Earfonik was founded in Italy in 2013 from the dream of creating a start-up to develop high-quality handcrafted in-ear monitors. Two engineers and friends, building on their university experience in hearing aid design, saw the potential to extend this technology to the music industry.
The start-up’s first in-ear monitor prototypes were validated and further developed through collaboration with some of the most renowned Italian sound engineers, who immediately appreciated the sound quality of the initial IEM3 and IEM3V models.
The first products were created for the musical “Romeo e Giulietta” and later for a famous Italian singer. Gradually, more artists began using Earfonik products, and the start-up evolved into a small company. The business started to grow, and in 2014 new models — IEM4, IEM5, and IEM6 — were designed, launched, and marketed, establishing the brand’s success in the Italian music scene thanks to their outstanding sound quality and performance. In 2017, our in-ear monitors were used by many artists competing in the Sanremo Italian Song Festival, the most famous music festival in Italy — including all three finalists in both the Big Artists and Newcomers categories.
That same year, during the Modena Park concert attended by over 250,000 spectators, legendary Italian rock star Vasco Rossi performed wearing our products.
Today, the company is a leader in the Italian market and has begun its international expansion, targeting the UK and Japanese markets. The research and development department is constantly active in designing and producing new models.
Eartronik has also thought of those who, exposed to constant noise, risk long-term hearing damage. Alongside products dedicated to sound, the company has developed specialized solutions for noise protection.
